New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission aspirants have rejected the government's attempt to buy time. They are demanding scrapping of the current format of the Civil Services Aptitude Test.

The government was forced to make a statement in Parliament on Friday, saying that the issue will be resolved in a week after a high level committee submits a report. IAS aspirants have alleged that the Test is discriminatory against Hindi speakers.

Twenty protesting aspirants were arrested on Friday after violent protests. Few aspirants were also found protesting at Parliament street and Mukherjee Nagar in New Delhi on Friday night.

The NSUI will also hold a protest at Jantar Mantar.
