HYDERABAD: The Telugu Desam Party is set to receive yet another jolt in Telangana region as its MLA Gampa Govardhan, representing Kamareddy Assembly segment in Nizamabad district, is ready to quit the party to join the TRS. He met Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao here on Tuesday in this regard.
Already two MLAs Ch Ramesh (Vemulawada) and Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy (Banswada) joined the TRS after quitting the TDP. Four more MLAs recently quit the party.Reacting to the new political development, Telangana Telugu Desam Forum (TTDF) convenor E Dayakar Rao accused KCR of employing pressure tactics to get TDP MLAs into the TRS fold.
