'Kali Charan' to be another political-action drama

Looks like this is the season of political dramas. After ‘Autonagar Surya’ and Krishna Vamsi's ‘Paisa’ (which is allegedly a political satire), Sri Praveen of ‘Gaayam-2’ fame is returning with an action based political flick. And the catch here is that, this film is based on a real incident which happened in the 1980s.

Without revealing the incident or the plot, the director says that the film will see the coming together of a popular hero and other character artists. A new girl will be seen in the female lead.

Regular shooting will be commencing in June. ‘Kali Charan’ is slated to be shot in ‘Mahabub Nagar, Gadwal and Kadapa.
