FRANCE HONOURS J K ROWLING
Fiction's most famous magician boy Harry Potter's creator J K Rowling was honoured by France by presenting her with the prestigious Legion of Honour.
It was the French President Nicolas Sarkozy who bestowed the title of 'Knight' in the legion.
Created by Napoleon Bonaparte the Legion of Honor is France's elite national merit society where foreigners are made honorary recipients.
The "Legion d'Honneur" is something very special and personal for me,” says the proud author.
RED CARPET
It was the girls who brought the glam for the star studded premiere the film He's Not Just That Into You on Monday evening in Los Angeles.
The ladies grabbed eyeballs as Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore sported black with the latter going for a strapless silk dress while Scarlett Johansson looked stunning in a pink gown.
Also spotted on the red carpet were co stars Ben Affleck, Jennifer Connelly.
The film boasts of an all star cast, including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson and Drew Barrymore who incidentally also produced the film - much to the delight of the other girls.
The movie tells the story of a group inter connected 20 and 30 year olds as they navigate their various relationships and opens in cinemas across the United States on February 6.
