KOLLAM: The Italian Marines, accused of killing two fishermen, moved the District and Sessions Court here seeking bail on Wednesday.   The petition has been posted for hearing on Thursday.  Earlier, a bail petition filed in the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court was dismissed citing that a Magistrate Court does not have the statutory power to grant bail to the accused, who are liable tobe prosecuted on murder charges.  The remand of the two Marines, Latorre Massimiliano and Salvatore Girone, would complete 90 days on Saturday. The investigation team has not yet filed the chargesheet against the accused and if they fail to do so, the marines would get default bail. Investigation team sources said that the chargesheet would be filed in the coming days.
