Inter-college BBA fest at DG Vaishnav

CHENNAI: The department of Business Administration (BBA) of DG Vaishnav College conducted Synergy 2012, an annual inter-college cultural fest on February 15 and 16. Synergy 2012, the third consecutive annual meet, organised by the department had 500 participating students from various colleges across the city. The programme had eminent speakers who enlightened the students on various essential spheres of life. The Chief Guest of the event was Raja Krishnamoorthy, Director-HR, Talent Maximus who is also a motivational speaker, management consultant, corporate trainer, and a versatile actor. Raja, with his persuasive speech, had inspired the students and also stressed on the importance of contributing to the society. He also explained the concept of inclusive development to the students in a very simple and easily understanble manner. The guest of honor for the event was Kiruba Shankar, CEO, Business Blogging Pvt Ltd. Kiruba spoke on the importance of personal branding. The event had many interesting management games such as businessquiz, paper presentation, AD-maker, business launch, and investment planning among others. The winners of Synergy 2012 was MOP Vaishnav College, Chennai.
