India's Solomon Daniel killed in shelling in Libya
Solomon's family said that he was to return to India on Wednesday but was killed on Sunday.

Thiruvanathapuram: An Indian national has been killed in Libya falling prey to the intense shelling taking place in the civil war-torn country. Solomon Daniel, a native of Kerala's Alappuzha, was killed on Sunday in Libya.

Solomon's family said that he was to return to India on Wednesday but was killed on Sunday.

Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy spoke to Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on the death of Solomon. Chandy said that Swaraj promised that all arrangements would be made at the earliest to bring back his body.

Meanwhile, a team of 47 nurses from Libya will reach India on Tuesday. A relative of a nurse who is returning said that their flight from Tunisia is at 3 PM on Monday.

Out of the 47 three will land at Delhi, one at Hyderabad and 43 will go to Kochi.
