IIJT to conduct free job fair on January 21

CHENNAI: The Indian Institute of Job Training, India’s largest and leading vocational training provider, is to hold a job fair, the entry to which will be  completely free for the city’s youth. The job fair is scheduled to be held on January 21, 2011 from 10am to 6pm.Currently, the organisers say that over 600 positions are available in sales, accounts, marketing, finance and customer relations for candidates who have completed their 12th standard, graduates and diploma holders. Companies like Building Control Solutions, Dominos Pizza, Cafe Coffee Day, Kochar Infotech Pvt Ltd, Tandem Accounting Services, Luxor Writing Instruments Pvt Ltd and Big Bazaar are participating in the day-long job fair.According to Shajan Samuel, Divisional head at IIJT Education, “The career fairs are an effort from IIJT to bring jobs to a candidate’s doorstep. As skilled manpower is getting scarce, this event will provide a platform to attain the talented resources that many companies are looking for.”The job fair will be held at 58, Nugambakkam High Road.
