New Delhi: Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Kochadaiiyaan', which has been making headlines for daughter Soundarya's efforts, is now in the news for his wife Latha's contribution to the project. Like Rajinikanth who has sung a number in the film, his wife Latha has also crooned the number 'Manappenin Sathiyam'.
While talking about the song, director Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin lauded Latha's efforts and mentioned the fact that singing is her passion. "My mother is a very talented singer, and this song has come out great. Without any practise, she's done an amazing job. Singing is her passion and I hope she does it more often. The lyrics are very emotional and I can't wait for people to hear it. It was a challenge for her, for sure, as she has sung this song in Telugu too," Soundarya was quoted as saying.
This isn't the first time that Latha has crooned a song. She was a playback singer in the 80s. If the sources close to the family are to be believed, Rajinikanth loved the song she sung.
