TUMKUR: Many people have come forward to help the three orphan girl children studying in the Government Model Primary School at Kyathasandra.
The MLA visited the school on Thursday and instructed the authorities to take care of the children. He promised to providing all the facilities at their governmentsanctioned 'Ashraya' house at SLN Nagara colony. The elder Saraswathi who was admitted to 'nalikali' classes to learn the alphabets has been promoted to class II and the teacher Ratnamma assured the authorities that she would prepare her for the exams.

Having lost her mother, Saraswathi took up the responsibility of running the house at the early age of seven and dropped out of school to take care of her younger sisters - Manjula, 5, and Lakshmi, 1, as her drunkard father had neglected the affairs of the home.

What's your reaction?
