New Delhi: Pakistani Army continued ceasefire violations in Jammu and Kashmir with the latest incident being reported from Balakot sector of Poonch district.

Army sources said no injuries have been reported so far.

On Saturday night, Pakistani Army resorted to heavy shelling of forward military posts and civilian areas in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Pakistani troops used mortar bombs and fired with automatic weapons from across the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati sector, prompting Indian troops to retaliate, a senior army officer said.

Earlier, a General Engineering Reserve Force (GREF) labourer was killed while two others including a BSF jawan were injured as Pakistan on Thursday violated the ceasefire by shelling mortars and firing on forward posts along the LoC in Rajouri and Poonch districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
