German woman found dead in lodge

KOCHI: A German woman who has been staying alone at a hotel for the past seven years died here.The police said the woman, identified as En Freeda Mariya Shimid, 77, was staying at a lodge near TDM Hall in the city. She was suffering from various illness for the past few months. The Police have passed on the details of the woman to the Central Government. The body was shifted to Government General Hospital on Thursday. Police said that no one had come forward to claim the body.
