Four aides of former naxalite held

HYDERABAD: Four associates of former Naxal Nayeemuddin, an accused in several cases of murder, including that of surrendered Naxalite and TRS worker Sambasivudu, were arrested by the Task Force sleuths on Thursday. They allegedly hatched a conspiracy to kill another rowdy-sheeter of Bhongir. Nayeem is also a rowdy-sheeter in Bhongir of Nalgonda district.Mohd Feroz Jaffar became an associate of Nayeem after murdering one Qamar. Jaffar and few other associates of Nayeem allegedly conspired to kill Asif, who is also a rowdy-sheeter in Bhongir.Nayeem and his associates developed a grudge against Asif, ever since Asif conspired to eliminate Nayeem.“Actually, Asif was once a member of Nayeem gang.But after developing differences with Nayeem he parted ways and started his own gang. Asif in fact conspired to kill Nayeem in 2009, but his plan was foiled by the city police,'' additional deputy commissioner of police (Task Force) K Raghuram Reddy said.Since then Nayeem was waiting for an opportunity to take revenge on Asif. Meanwhile, Nayeem’s associates killed one Soma RadhaKrishna in LB Nagar and subsequently arrested and lodged in Cherlapally jail. At this time Asif and his associates killed another associate of Nayeem, Jahangir in Uppal in February.“Jaffar came into contact with one extortionist Rafeeuddin Zakir and he sought his help in elimiating Asif.Jaffar facilitated Zakir in coming out of the jail on bail.After being released from jail in May, Jaffar, Zakir, Imran and Abbu conspired to kill Asif. But however, police foiled their attempt to kill Asif,'' Raghuram Reddy said.Nayeem has been on the run for the last few years and police say that he keeps shifting hideouts spread across several states.
