BANGALORE: Unable to repay debts, an autorickshaw driver ended his life by hanging himself at his residence. The incident was reported near Duggalamma Temple at Basappana Katte in Rajagopalanagar police station limits on Tuesday morning.The deceased, Pradeep Kumar (30), was married three years ago and has a three-year-old son.The police said that Kumar had borrowed money from various people and was facing financial crunch. Unable to repay the debts, he was depressed and often told family members that he would commit suicide. Though his family members had advised him not to take hasty decision, he hanged himself at his residence on Monday night when his family members were asleep. The incident came to light only on Tuesday morning when his wife woke up to see him dead, the police said.An autopsy was conducted at Victoria Hospital mortuary. Rajagopalanagar police have registered a case of unnatural death and are further investigating.
