However, Vanitha alleged that on Friday evening when she went to pick Vijay up from Akash’s Virugambakkam residence, the latter refused to send the child with her.Speaking to media persons after meeting the Commissioner, she said had been assured of action in the case but if she did not get justice, she would go on a fast.In fact, when she arrived at the Commissionerate, police officials were under the impression that she was about to go on a fast and stopped her at the entrance. She was later allowed inside after she told them she had an appointment to meet the joint commissioner. The actor had lodged a complaint with the commissioner four days ago. The complaint had been forwarded to the Nungambakkam Assistant Commissioner but reportedly there had been no action on the issue.
