CM gives away lifetime achievement awards

BANGALORE: Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda gave away life time achievement awards to ten eminent personalities of Karnataka, who have gained fame in various fields. The awards were given by the Public Relations Council of India as a part of their World Communicator’s Day celebrations. Kuncha Kale Artist Dr B K S Varma, actor BV Radha and wildlife photographer Thippeswamy were some of the awardees. Speaking at the function, Gowda stressed that an individual should be honest about his actions, especially if he is under public glare.MLC electionsThe CM said that he was confident of achieving 100 per cent result in the upcoming Member of Legislative Council (MLC) elections.  “The nominations were filed today. We are hopeful ,” he said.On BJP’s Central Leader Dharmendra Pradhan visiting the city, the CM said,”I will be meeting him now. We will discuss political matters and other related issues.”
