Chettikulangara Kumbha Bharani fest begins

ALAPPUZHA: The Kumbha Bharani festival of Chettikulangara Bhagavathi temple began on Monday. The construction of ‘kettukazhcha’ has begun at the temple.The kettukazhcha construction also began at Eerezh South and North, Kaitha South and North,  Kannamangalam North, Pola, Kadavoor, Anjilapra,  Mattom South and North, Monambilly and Nadakkav.  The festival is led by Sree Devi Vilasam Hindumatha Convention.The ‘kuthiyottam’ ritual has also begun as part of the festival.
