Asian Games: Boxer Satish Kumar settles for bronze after losing semi-final bout
The 25-year-old came second best fighting against the Olympic medalist and world champion Dychko who used his tall frame to fullest.

Satish Kumar settled for bronze medal in Men's Super Heavy (+91kg) Semifinal after losing his bout to Ivan Dychko of Kazakhstan. The 25-year-old came second best fighting against the Olympic medalist and world champion Dychko who used his tall frame to fullest.

However, Satish ensured Indian male boxers do not return home empty-handed and was pretty decent against the ace boxer Dychko. He takes India's medal tally to 51 including 7 gold, 9 silver and 35 bronze medals in the 17th edition of Asian Games.

Pugilist Satish Kumar had assured the country a medal by reaching the semis in the +91 kg category after winning his quarter-final bout 2-1 against Jordan's Hussein Eishaish.

Satish Kumar finished fifth in World Championships and Asian Championships in 2013. He could not participate in the World Championships quarterfinals after sustaining an injury.
