TIRUPATI: APNGO's association state president V Gopal Reddy said that they are willing to work and are not participating in the Sakala Janula Samme called by TRS and other Telangana JACs. But they need security to work, considering the threat of physical attacks on them. Addressing mediapersons here on Monday, he said that except in Hyderabad, employees in other districts of Telangana region fear attacks and feel the need for more security. "Current movements are politically motivated and as government employees they have nothing do with thosemovements. It is political leaders who decide the outcome of the movements and not the employees. We would like the state to be united for the best interests of all," he said. "We will support the cause of employees and will participate in agitations concerning it, but will not be party to any other agitations," the APNGO leaders said. APNGO president and secretaries of 16 branches from 13 districts in Rayalaseema and Andhra regions along with those in Hyderabad attended the meeting held here on Sunday.Several of the employee representatives, had opined that employees get salaries from the taxes paid by the people in the state and they should concentrate on providing services to them rather than engaging in any movements. Some had opined that it is the government and policy makers who had to take the decision about the future of the state should be and employees should not interfere in this regard. Gopal Reddy admitted that employees associations, department wise are being divided on the lines of Telangana and Andhra.
