AP: Panel on Presidential Orders formed

HYDERABAD: The state government on Friday appointed a one-man commission headed by retired judge BS Raikote to review the grievances related to implementation of the Presidential Orders regarding state government jobs.The Commission will examine representations from employee associations, employees and government agencies to suggest corrective action and remedies to the government.The appointment of the commission follows an agreement between the state government and the Telangana Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers on October 24 last year following the Sakala Janula Samme.Born on October 7, 1937, BS Raikote served as a judge in the High Courts of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh during 1994.
