HYDERABAD: The Alliance Française, Hyderabad, has shifted to its new premises in the Banjara Hills in order to cater to more people from the twin cities. The move has come after years and its earlier office was situated in West Marredpally. And not wanting to desert its students and members from Secunderabad, a new annexe will be opened near the old premises in Plot 172, Food World lane. The annexe will have 5 classrooms, with the reception open every morning between 8.30 am and 1.30 pm.The new three-storied building at Aurora Colony, Road No 3, Banjara Hills will feature state-of-the-art facilities. While the first floor will be dedicated entirely to the teaching department, with seven classrooms, the 2nd floor will house a library, with a children’s corner, and the administration department. The 3rd floor will house a cultural space which includes a mini-auditorium for film screenings, conferences, exhibitions and an audio-visual room. The ground floor will double up as a cafeteria and parking area. French classes in the new building on January 6 .
