ACB checks liquor tenders

KARIMNAGAR/ADILABAD/NIZAMABAD: In their quest for evidence on the nexus between the excise officials and the liquor syndicate, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials continued simultaneous raids on the offices of Prohibition and Excise superintendents in Karimangar, Medak and Adilabad districts on Wednesday. They seized important documents apart from retrieving data from the computers available in the Excise offices which were later sent to Hyderabad for examination.In Karimnagar district,  two ACB teams led by DSP T Sudarshan Goud raided the excise superintendent offices in Karimnagar and Godvarikhani. . All the important documents and tender application forms belonging to 2010-11 were seized. Moreover some data was downloaded from the computers into two pen drives in Karimangar superintendent office.
