New Delhi: Aaramshop.com is an online platform for grocery stores where anyone can buy products on a click. It has tied up with several grocery stores and using this service will direct business to local traders. The application can also be downloaded on mobile phones.
Aaramshop.com CEO Vijay Singh told the idea behind Aaramshop.com. He said, "We realised that 12 million retailers should have an online presence as well. So that when a consumer finds a product, he/she is able to place the order with the neighbourhood retailer."
One just need to log on to the site and place an order. The portal will then transfer the order to the nearby grocery store which will then deliver the products on the same day.
"I can shop my home stuff in 15-20 minutes. I am saving my time, fuel and shopping is very comfortable," said one of the customers.
The site was founded in 2011 and has connected with 3,000 retailers across 30 cities. The local grocery stores are given an online presence for free. All they need to do is to register with the website. The company earns profits from online ads.
"I'm benefitted but the customer is benefitted the most as he/she is getting the products at home and at reasonable rate," said a grocery shopkepper Ram Kumar Agarwal.
