These timings are considered inauspicious for starting significant activities and are listed among the ashubh muhurat timings. Notably, the day hosts four festivals: Tagore Jayanti, Masik Karthigai, Ishti, and Vaishakha Amavasya.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON MAY 8

The sun is expected to rise around 5:52 AM and set around 7:04 PM. However, there is no moonrise slated, while the moon is predicted to set at 7:31 PM.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR MAY 8

The Amavasya Tithi is expected to persist until 8:51 AM, transitioning into the Pratipada Tithi thereafter. Following this, the inauspicious Bharani Nakshatra is predicted to prevail until 1:33 PM, after which the inauspicious Nakshatra, Krittika, will begin. Throughout this time, the moon is forecasted to be in Mesha Rashi until 7:07 PM, shifting thereafter to Vrishabha Rashi. Meanwhile, the sun is expected to remain in Mesha Rashi.

SHUBH MUHURAT FOR MAY 8

Brahma Muhurta is anticipated to occur from 4:25 AM to 5:08 AM, followed by the Vijaya Muhurta from 2:40 PM to 3:33 PM, and the Godhuli Muhurat from 7:03 PM to 7:24 PM.
