Designer Ashima Arjun introduces ‘A Dot’, a vibrant and quirky collection of designer wear jewellery, bags and textiles at Itty’s in Panampilly Nagar on August 3 and 4. There are exhibits from all across the country.
‘A dot’ will feature ‘Trumpet By Meister’ , bags designed by Vanessa Meister, a Swiss French designer, who has now made Kerala her base. Hers is a collection of flashy bags that are hand made in Tripunithara.
‘Boho Gypsy’ jewellery by US based designer Annah Chakola is another item that is inspired by the designer’s journey around the world. Her pieces gives one an impression of all the places she has been to.
Among the other jewellery to be featured will be SOS (Soul Of Silver) and Esmaralda, featuring contemporary silver jewellery. Clothes by ‘Jugnu’, will feature soft-printed mul mul in fun silhouettes, spaghetti’s racer backs and gathered tunics, that is perfect for this weather. For the boys, there is a small collection of T-shirts by Pondstone, started by a Banglore-based designer.
‘Happily Unmarried’ from Delhi is another design house that has a wide collection of zany products. ‘A dot’ is trying to conduct regular exhibitions promoting new designers and bring exclusive products to Kochi. For further details contact 9249420004.
