The search is on for the bodies of the other two officials.
Chandigarh: Three officials of the Indian Air Force(IAF) have reportedly drowned in Morni Lake in Chandigarh. So far, the body of only one official has been fished out.
Four IAF personnel had come for a picnic in Morni village of Panchkula, close to the tourist destination of Morni hills, when three of them stepped into the river, police said MS Chahal of Bathinda, K Kumar of Andhra Pradesh and Vikas Kumar of Bihar were washed away in the gushing waters.
The locals were alerted by the fourth IAF jawan. Efforts are on to trace them.
