117 held; goods worth Rs 2.39 Crore recovered

BANGALORE: The South-East Division police have arrested 117 accused in the last one month and solved 172 different cases by recovering stolen goods worth Rs 2.39 crore in total.The police have recovered 11 cars, two lorries, a tipper, 55 two-wheelers, three autorickshaws, 37 gold chains, 12 gold necklaces, 26 pair earrings, 32 mobile phone sets and other valuables. Thus, the police have solved eight robbery cases, 10 chain snatching cases, 11 thefts, 48 two-wheeler thefts, 30 other theft cases, three extortion, one cheating and one Wildlife Act case.Koramangala police have solved 18 cases, Mico Layout police 27, Madiwala 29, Tilaknagar 14, Parappana Agrahara 17, Electronics City 6 and the HSR Layout police have solved 10 cases.
