1 killed, 1 injured in alleged firing in Noida by two bike-borne assailants
Bullet hit Sangwan in the chest while Tarun suffered a bullet injury on hand, police said.

Noida: One person was killed and another was injured when they were allegedly fired at near NTPC crossing on Sunday evening, police said. The deceased was identified as Sachin Sangwan, an engineer, from Rohtak.

Sangwan and Tarun were going to Gaur City apartment at Greater Noida west in their car and when they reached near the NTPC crossing they were fired at by two bike-borne assailants. Bullet hit Sangwan in the chest while Tarun suffered a bullet injury on hand, police said.

Traffic policemen at the NTPC crossing took them to a local hospital, where Sangwan died. The assailants managed to flee.

Tarun alleged that no policemen came to their rescue despite just about 50 mtrs away from the crime scene. He said that robbery might be the motive of the assailants. SSP Preetinder Singh has sent the SHO 24 and chowki in charge, under whose area the incident took place, to police line.
