Real have already been informed by Cesc's agent, Darren Dein, that the midfielder will only leave Arsenal for Barca. But that hasn't put them off.
The Madrid offer far exceeds Barca's last bid of 30 millio euros for Cesc and now seriously threatens any chance of a Nou Camp return for the Spain international.
No matter how much Cesc wants to return home, Arsenal are unlikely to accept losing a clear 20 million euros just to accommodate a homesick player's feelings.
