New Delhi: Liverpool striker Fernando Torres feels that current club coach Rafa Benitez is the best manager he has worked for.
The star Spanish striker has worked under Javier Aguirre, Jose Murcia, Carlos Bianchi, Cesar Ferrando, and Gregorio Manzano at Atletico Madrid, and Vicente Del Bosque and Luis Aragones for the Spanish national team, but insists that Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is the best coach he has worked for.
"He [Benitez] is the best coach I have ever had, without a doubt," Torres is quoted as saying by The People.
"He gets every last drop of ability out of you," he added.
Benitez spent a lot of money bringing Torres to Liverpool, but the forward repaid the faith shown in him by his manager by scoring an impressive 33 goals in his debut season, and was one of two strong front-runners from the Premier League to contest the Ballon d'Or.
