Liverpool: Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has declared he is "very disappointed" with the FA’s decision to ban Luis Suarez for eight matches and fine him 40,000 Pounds following the Patrice Evra racism row.
Suarez has been found guilty by the FA of making racist comments towards the Manchester United full-back during the 1-1 draw between the two sides at Anfield back in October, and a verdict was eventually reached on Tuesday.
The former Ajax attacker has the right to appeal, but must do so within 14 days, and the Scot has rued the decision by the FA to hand a lengthy sanction to the Uruguayan.
Speaking on his official Twitter account, the Liverpool manager called on supporters to back the striker, saying: "Very disappointed with today's verdict."
"This is the time when @luis16suarez [Luis Suarez] needs our full support. Let's not let him walk alone. KD"
