Aditi Chauhan became the first Indian woman in the history of India to win the Woman In Football Award at the third Asian Football Awards in London.

Aditi Chauhan became the first Indian woman in the country's football history to win the 'Woman In Football Award' at the third Asian Football Awards in London.

Chauhan, who hails from Delhi, went to the United Kingdom two years ago to pursue her Masters in Sports Management in Loughborough University. Playing for the university team, she was spotted by Julian, who is West Ham's goalkeeping coach.

The Delhi girl plays as a goalkeeper for West Ham Ladies in England's FA Women's Premier League.

Three months ago, Aditi became the first Indian to feature in an FA Women's Premier League club when she was signed by West Ham Ladies.
