Amitabh Bachchan Stuns In All-black Ensemble At Kalki 2898 AD, Proves Age Is Just A Number

At the age of 81, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan continues to redefine fashion with his choice of comfy yet trendsetting attires. On various occasions, the actor has defied age with his fashion prowess and we are rooting for him. Just when we thought that the superstar had aced the sartorial game, he stepped out in a not-so-basic all-black ensemble, drawing the attention of fashion enthusiasts from across the world.

Sporting a casual yet striking look in a logo-graphic organic cotton hoodie from Marcelo Burlon County Of Milan, Amitabh Bachchan left many in awe of his captivating appearance. His sweatshirt featured a unique pattern on the neckline. Zooming into the same, we can see the brand’s name written in capitals adding a quirky element to the otherwise sophisticated look.

Big B’s choice to pair the sweatshirt with black cargo pants to create a monochrome look spoke volumes of his stellar fashion choices. Designed by the brand G Star Raw, the pants came with a relaxed fit silhouette, multiple pockets and drawstrings on either side. To elevate his style, Amitabh Bachchan complemented the outfit with a pair of white sneakers. It blended well with the pattern on his sweatshirt. Additionally, his red statement sunglasses amplified the appeal.

Amitabh Bachchan wore the all-black ensemble for the launch event of his upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD. In the sci-fi drama, the OG Don plays Ashwatthama, a character from the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata. Besides the legendary star, the film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan. Set to release on July 27, Kalki 2898 AD is directed by Nag Ashwin.

During the promotional event of the upcoming film, Mr Bachchan noted, “It’s been a truly wonderful experience, to have worked in a setup where they’ve gone beyond thinking what most of us have been doing all our lives in the film industry.”
