The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released an important notice for the private candidates who are scheduled to appear for the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) in March 2025. According to the TGBIE, private candidates of the humanities stream have been exempted from attendance requirements upon payment of a prescribed fee within the deadline.
For exemption from attendance requirements, candidates are required to submit their exemption applications online on the official website, tgbie.cgg.gov.in and upload scanned copies of required documents, including SSC certificates, transfer, migration certificates, and eligibility documents for non-Telangana board students. Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 500. The last date for application submission without a late fee is November 20, 2024. While the last date for application with a late fee of Rs 200 is December 18, 2024.
“The incomplete applications and applications received without enclosing original qualifying examination certificate(s), Transfer Certificate and Migration Certificate together with Eligibility Certificate in respect of candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than SSC, of Telangana State will be rejected summarily without any further correspondence,” official TGBIE notice stated.
TS Inter Exams: Practical Assessments in English
The TGBIE has decided to introduce practicals and internal assessments for English in Part I for both general and vocational streams. This system will be implemented for first-year students in March 2024 and will extend to second-year students beginning with the March 2025 exams.
“The TGBIE has resolved (vide ref. cited) to conduct of Practicals/Internal Assessment Test, introduced and implementing for English subject under Part-I, i.e., Practical Manual (A Handbook of Communicative English) to both General & Vocational streams, and effected from IPE March 2024 for 1-year candidates and from IPE March 2025 for 2nd year candidates,” TGBIE official notice stated.
