Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) will be inviting applications for the post of Grade A Assistant Manager under various departments in the organisation. It has released a vacancy of a total of 97 seats in the streams of General, Legal, Information Technology, Engineering Electrical, Research and Official Language. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of SEBI – https://www.sebi.gov.in/. The application forms will be available from April 13, as per the notification. It has 62 seats in the General department and 24 vacant positions in the Information Technology department. For Electrical Engineering, Research and the Official Language stream, SEBI has released two seats each. The Legal department has a vacancy of five seats. The pay scale of the selected officer will be between 25,000 to 89,000, as per the qualifications and experience. It will be accompanied by allowances and benefits.

Step 1: Visit the official website – https://www.sebi.gov.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the recruitment link when available.
Step 3: Register yourself by entering your basic details such as phone number and Aadhaar card number.
Step 4: Access the application form with your registered ID and password.
Step 5: Fill out the registration form by submitting your required details.
Step 6: Upload your necessary documents such as photo, signature and experience letter, if any.
Step 7: Pay the application fee.
Step 8: Submit and download the application fee.
Candidates belonging to the General, OBC and EWS categories will have to pay Rs 1000 as an application fee. Whereas SC, ST and PWBD category candidates will have to pay only Rs 100 to register for the recruitment. The maximum age of the candidates is 30 years.
The candidates must have graduated from a preferred discipline for the post they wish to apply to become eligible for the recruitment drive. For the Official Language department, the applicant must hold a Master’s degree in Hindi, English or Sanskrit as the subject during graduation.
The selection of the candidates will be done in three phases. Phase I will be an online examination, consisting of two papers. All the candidates who pass the Phase I exam will be shortlisted for the Phase II exam. After qualifying both papers, the candidate will be called for an interview.
