NEET UG Counselling 2024: MCC Adds 614 Seats For MBBS, BDS Courses In Round 2
NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 2 Seat allotment result will be declared on September 13.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has added 614 seats in NEET UG Counselling 2024 round 2 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses at various colleges. A total of 6,947 virtual vacancies for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses are up for admission in round 2 of NEET UG counselling. The MCC has already released the complete schedule for the NEET UG Counselling 2024 on the official website – mcc.nic.in.

According to the official schedule, the registration and choice filling for round 2 began on September 5 and candidates will be able to apply for the second round of counselling till September 10. Candidates are required to lock the preferred choices by September 10, 2024. NEET UG Counselling 2024 Round 2 Seat allotment result will be declared on Sept 13 and candidates who will be allotted seats in round 2 will be required to report to the allotted colleges from Sept 14 to Sept 20, 2024.

For round 2 counselling, a total of 453 candidates have been converted provisionally from Indian to NRI on the basis of scrutiny of documents sent to the MCC. However, the candidates will be considered under the NRI quota upon submission of original documents at the time of reporting.

NEET UG Counselling 2024: Who Can Apply For Round 2

Candidates who have qualified for NEET UG 2024 will be able to register in the second round. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round but had their seat cancelled during the document verification process upon reporting for admission, will be considered for the second round, provided there are available seats in the relevant category.
