Mumbai University Summer Examinations Set to Commence on March 22
Mumbai University has rolled out the schedule of 299 exams out of which 69 are for humanities faculty, 57 for commerce and management etc.

The University of Mumbai (MU) has unveiled the schedule for its upcoming 299 summer exams. The examinations are set to kick off on March 22, with the commencement of the sixth semester BCom tests, reported Times of India. Following this, BA and BSc papers are scheduled to begin on April 3. Notably, exams for the sixth semester BCom self-financed courses will be conducted starting from April 15. Additionally, a total of 98 exams are slated to be held under the interdisciplinary faculty.

Mumbai University has also rolled out the schedule of 299 exams out of which 69 are for humanities faculty, 57 for commerce and management, 75 for science and technology and the remaining 98 are for interdisciplinary. These exams will be conducted over the next few months. Reportedly, the exams will witness around 2 lakh students appearing for the same.

At the University of Mumbai (MU), the most populous courses among students are BA, BSc, and BCom. However, the specialised or self-financed courses within these faculties will commence later. Although the schedule for these courses has been announced, the University has not yet released the timetable for engineering and other programs. In this exam cycle, a total of 540 tests will be administered to evaluate the knowledge and skills of students enrolled in these specific courses, working towards obtaining degrees from the University.

One of the largest educational institutions in the world, Mumbai University currently has over 5 lakh students enrolled in the following courses on its campuses and affiliated colleges across the state.

Meanwhile, the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has extended the deadline for registering for the MHT CET 2024. Candidates can now register themselves directly at mahacet.org for PCM and PCB courses until March 8. The first paper for applicants who choose PCM will be mathematics. On the other hand, Biology will be the first paper for candidates with PCB. Physics and Chemistry make up the second paper, which is shared by both PCB and PCM. MHT CET’s syllabus bases itself on the syllabus taught in classes 11 and 12.
