The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will announce the Class 8th results 2024 soon. Students who appeared for this year’s examination can check their results on the official website of the council at jac.jharkhand.gov.in, once they are declared. But, an official announcement from the board regarding the result date and time is still awaited.
This year the JAC Class 8th exam was conducted on March 16 and around 6 lakh students appeared. JAC is expected to announce the Class 8th results in the third week of May. Students are advised to keep tracking the official website for further details regarding the JAC Class 8th results 2024.

Step 1: Head to the official website of the Jharkhand Academic Council at jac.jharkhand.gov.in or jacresults.com
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the link that reads ‘Jharkhand Board 8th Results 2024’ and click on it.
Step 3: Log in using your Roll Number and Roll Code on the portal.
Step 4: Your JAC Class 8th result 2024 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Download the result and take a printout of it for future reference.

Jharkhand Board Class 8 Result 2024: Grading System
The JAC Class 8th results follow a five-point grading system. Every grade has a corresponding range of marks. Students who score 80 percent marks and above will be given a grade of A+ and those who score between 60 to 80 percent marks will be given grade A. Similarly, grade B will be given to those who achieve 45 to 60 percent marks and grade C to those who score 33 to 45 percent marks. Every candidate must obtain at least Grade C to pass the exam.
In 2023, the JAC Class 8th exams were held in two shifts on April 13. The first shift was from 9:45 AM to 1 PM and the second from 2 PM to 5:15 pm. The first paper consisted of Hindi, English or any other language, while the second paper included Maths, Science and Social Science. The results were declared on June 3.
