The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published test city intimation slips for candidates taking the BE, BTech Paper 1 of the Joint Entrance Examination – Main (JEE Main) 2024.Applicants can now get their exam city slips by visiting the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, if their JEE Main application forms were successallfully submitted.
The JEE Main 2024 examination will be conducted in two separate sessions. The first session is scheduled for January 24–February 1, while the second and final session is scheduled to begin from April 3. On January 24, the first JEE Main 2024 session for BArch and BPlanning (Paper 2A and Paper 2B) is scheduled. On the other hand, the test dates for BE or BTech (Paper 1) are January 27 to February 1.
The Director General of NTA, Subodh Singh has announced the revision of the JEE Main session 2 exam dates as they were clashing with the class 12 CBSE Board exams. Previously the JEE Main session 2 was supposed to be held from April 1–15, 2024.
JEE MAIN 2024 ADVANCE CITY SLIP: HOW TO DOWNLOAD
The steps listed below can be used by candidates who have registered for the JEE Main 2024 to download their advanced city intimation slip for BE, BTech paper 1:
Step 1: Go to jeemain.nta.ac.in, the official JEE Main website for the year 2024.
Step 2: Select the ‘Download JEE Main City Slip’ link that is prominently displayed on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill out the necessary information, which includes your date of birth, JEE Main 2024 application number, and the captcha code that appears on the screen. Hit “Submit.”
Step 4: The JEE Main BE, BTech city intimation slip will be accessible after a successful login.
Step 5: Download and save a printed copy of the BE, BTech city intimation slip for your records.

The JEE Main Paper 1 is used for admission to BE and BTech programmes at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and other institutions in India, whereas paper 2 is used for admission to BArch and BPlanning degrees. The JEE Main 2024 session 1 will last three hours, with the exception of applicants taking the joint test for BArch and BPlanning, who will have three hours and thirty minutes to complete the exam.
