The Indian Navy opened the registration window for Short Service Commission Officers on February 24. Unmarried candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their applications online via the official website of the Indian Navy at joinindianavy.gov.in. According to the official notification, the deadline to submit the application form is March 10, 2024.
This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill a total of 254 vacancies within the organisation. Out of these, there are 136 posts for the Executive Branch, 18 for the Education Branch, and 100 for the Technical Branch.
Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualifications: Candidates, who are interested in applying for the posts must possess BE or BTech degree in any discipline or the required discipline with minimum 60 per cent marks. For the Naval Operations Officer, General Service, Pilot, and Air Traffic Controller branch/cadre, applicants must be a graduate in any branch of engineering. To apply for logistics posts, candidates must have an MBA degree. While for the education branch, aspirants should have done M.Tech/Msc.
Age Limit: To be eligible, interested candidates should be born between January 2002 and July 2005.

Step 2: Click on the link available for online application on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill out the application form with the required details such as personal and academic.
Step 4: Then, upload all the scanned documents in the asked format.
Step 5: Pay the prescribed application fee to complete the application process and click on the submit button.
Step 6: Download the confirmation page and print the application form for future use.
Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying degree. Post that, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the SSB interview, about which they will be informed through email or SMS. Upon the interview round, the final selection merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in the SSB interview for all entries as per the availability of vacancies and medical clearance. Aspirants who will be declared fit in the medical test would then be recruited as per the availability of posts in the entry.
