The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has officially released the list of shortlisted candidates for the Written Ability Test and Personal Interview (WAT-PI) round as part of the 2024 admission process. To access their interview call, candidates are required to log in using their CAT registration number and date of birth. A total of 12,461 MBA candidates have successfully qualified for Stage 1a, out of which 3,914 candidates are now shortlisted for the WAT-PI round. Selected individuals must proceed to submit the WAT-PI form.

Category-wise Breakdown of Shortlisted Candidates

The shortlisted candidates for the IIM Lucknow 2024 admission cycle are classified into various categories, each associated with the three distinct MBA programs: MBA, MBA – ABM (Agri-Business Management), and MBA – SM (Sustainable Management). The category-wise breakdown is as follows:

–– General: 6,847 candidates for MBA, 7,238 for MBA – ABM, and 1,510 for MBA – SM.

–– EWS(Economically Weaker Section): 733 candidates for MBA, 944 for MBA – ABM, and 116 for MBA – SM.

–– NC – OBC (Non-Creamy Layer – Other Backward Classes): 1,914 candidates for MBA, 2,324 for MBA – ABM, and 455 for MBA – SM.

–– SC (Scheduled Caste): 2,136 candidates for MBA, 1,696 for MBA – ABM, and 266 for MBA – SM.

–– ST (Scheduled Tribe): 595 candidates for MBA, 433 for MBA – ABM, and 45 for MBA – SM.

–– PwD (Persons with Disabilities): 236 candidates for MBA, 189 for MBA – ABM, and 24 for MBA – SM.

In total, 12,461 candidates qualified for Stage 1a of the admission process, with 12,824 candidates considered across all programs.

Shortlisted candidates are now required to participate in the WAT-PI round, which will take place in major cities including Bangalore, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Hyderabad. The final selection hinges on a candidate’s performance in CAT, WAT & PI, along with considerations for scholastic achievements and work experience.

Candidates have been shortlisted based on their performance in CAT, with an overall cut-off expected to be 90 and sectional cut-offs around 85. The WAT and PI rounds are anticipated to be conducted in February, and candidates can find the schedule on the official website or their dashboards.
