The Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has invited applications for the Common Admission Test (CAT) at its official website, cusat.ac.in. The online application process will begin from March 10 and will conclude on March 31. Candidates can apply for admission to undergraduate, PhD and diploma courses till April 8, as per the official notice. A computer-based test (CBT) will be conducted on June 12, 13 and 14 for admission to CUSAT.
Candidates will be allowed to edit their application form after completing registration. The window to edit application form will be available till last date of registration. Every candidate can edit their details twice. Candidates will not be allowed to edit their name, email id and mobile number.
Online registrations for MTech programmes will be held from March 10 to April 21. For MTech programmes, preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE score in the respective subject. In the absence of GATE score performance in Department Admission Test (DAT). Likewise, for MBA admissions, KMAT / CMAT / CAT scores are accepted. For admissions to MPhil, PhD, diploma courses in CUSAT, candidates need not apply online. The application will be available from the respective departments.
CUSAT has 27 departments offering graduate and postgraduate programmes. Depending upon the course a candidate is applying for, the exam pattern will change.
As per the official notice, the admit card will be available for the entrance exam from May 25 to June 14. It is mandatory for candidates to bring a print out of the admit card along with them to the exam hall for verification and authentication purposes.
