CTET December 2024 Application Correction Window Opens, Submit Changes By October 25
The CBSE CTET 2024 examination is scheduled to be held on December 14, 2024.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the application correction window for the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024. Candidates who registered for the entrance examination can make changes to their application forms through the official website, ctet.nic.in. As per the schedule, the deadline to submit the changes is October 25.

The CTET 2024 is scheduled to be held on December 14, which was earlier slated for December 15. However, as per the board, if the number of candidates in a specific city is high, the CTET December 2024 exam may also be held on December 15.

According to the official notification, candidates will be allowed to make changes to their name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth. They can also edit the category to which they belong, the differently-abled category, as well as the paper they have chosen, either Paper 1 or Paper II, depending on availability in the chosen city.

Additionally, candidates can also correct the subject for Paper 2, the language chosen for Language 1 or Language 2, their postal address and the name of the institution, college, or university from which they received their Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree or Diploma in Elementary Education.

How to Make Changes to The CTET 2024 Application Form?

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of CTET at ctet.nic.in.

Step 2: Upon reaching the homepage, look for the correction window link and click on it.

Step 3: Enter your login credentials such as application number and password.

Step 4: After logging in, make the required changes to your application form.

Step 5: Review the changes once again and click on submit.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of the revised form for future reference.

CTET 2024: Exam Pattern

The CTET exam consists of two papers, Paper 1 for primary school classes (From Class 1 to 5), while Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8. Candidates can appear for both papers. Both papers will consist of 150 MCQ-based questions, carrying one mark each.

The CTET December 2024 exam will be administered in two shifts. The first shift is from 9:30 am to 12 pm, while the second shift will be held from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
