Vijay-starrer Tamil Film Thalapathy68 Based On Time Travel? What We Know
Reportedly, Thalapathy68 makers have used sophisticated AI technology to make Vijay look younger, to suit his appearance well with the film's plot.

Thalapathy Vijay is currently basking in the success of his film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Co-starring actors like Trisha, Sanjay Dutt and others, this film is a part of the LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe). Vijay is now looking forward to his next film, tentatively titled Thalapathy68, written and directed by Venkat Prabhu.

Some unconfirmed reports have surfaced on social media that have made interesting revelations related to the possible storyline of this film. According to the reports, Thalapathy68 is based on the concept of time travel. Reports state that the concept of time travel is the reason that Vijay has donned two different looks for his characters in Thalapathy68.

Reportedly, makers have used sophisticated AI technology to make Vijay look younger, to suit his appearance well with the film’s plot. Vijay had to undergo the scanning process in the United States of America and return to Chennai. Thalapathy68 went on floors after all the work related to Vijay’s looks had been sorted. Makers had reportedly shot for a song first starring Vijay.

Thalapathy68 became the talk of the tinsel town after the director Venkat Prabhu tweeted some pictures of the movie from the set. The pictures show that the production team is using Light Stage technology which holds the potential of digitally capturing the subjects. This technology enables the creation of a 3D representation of a subject, often combined with motion capture technology for enhanced results.

The specific reason for Venkat’s use of this technology in the film remains unknown. It’s evident, however, that he’s working on an important project. In addition, Venkat Prabhu accompanied the images with the caption, “Welcome to the future.” This caption could have two possible meanings- it might suggest that the director is alluding to technology as the future of filmmaking. It could also be a hint that Thalapathy 68 is a futuristic sci-fi film.
