Santhosh made a sarcastic video taking a jibe at Majja, the indie platform that funded the song.

The music industry in Tamil cinema has seen a lot of development in the recent years. Musicians in Kollywood have been producing some of the most soulful and upbeat music over the years. They have received a lot of love from the audience. One of the songs that created a stir in Tamil cinema in 2021 was Enjoy Enjaami. Recorded by singer Dhee, it featured Indian rapper Arivu and Indian producer Santhosh Narayanan. It became a huge hit and gave a lot of hope to the Indie musicians in the Tamil film industry. Recently, on March 5, the song completed three years of its release. But a tweet from Santhosh Narayanan has revealed some shocking facts about the album and its producers.

As Enjoy Enjaami’s album completed three years of release, fans were quite excited when they heard that its music composer, Santhosh Narayanan, had posted something about the album. According to reports, things have turned anti-climatic as Santhosh made a sarcastic video taking a jibe at Majja, the indie platform that funded the song. He claimed that they haven’t received a single cent from the label.

In a video posted on Twitter, Santhosh started out by celebrating the three years of the superhit song, Enjoy Enjaami and thanked all his fans for the love they had given for the song. He continued by saying, “We were approached with owning 100 percent of the rights and royalty to the song. We were so happy. You know the song connected really well, and it has over a billion streams, cumulatively on all the platforms. I wanted to spill the beans on how much we have received in net income and revenue. To date, all three artists (Dhee, Arivu, and Santhosh Narayanan) have received a whopping zero cents for this song.”

Apart from that, he also accused Majja of stealing his YouTube channel and receiving revenue from it as well. He said that this practice by big platforms has been going on forever, and this is only the first time that he has been speaking about it. Later, he said that he would make a new YouTube channel and would continue to support new and upcoming indie artists.
