Vijay Antony’s daughter Meera died by suicide in the wee hours of Tuesday, September 19, in Chennai. She was 16. As per India Today, she was found dead in the family’s Chennai home at 3 a.m. and was rushed to the hospital. She was declared dead. As per unverified reports, she was under pressure and sought treatment for the same. Vijay and his family are yet to issue a statement about the heartbreaking turn of events.
Trigger Warning: As per the report, Meera was allegedly found hanging in her house in Chennai’s Teynampet area early in the morning on Tuesday. As per claims, Meera was studying in a private school in the city and was allegedly battling depression. However, News18 couldn’t verify these claims at the time of publishing. It is also reported that police officials are conducting an investigation into her death.
