New Delhi: Kingfisher Airlines is still struggling for money for its day to day operations. After SBI, both Bank of India and UCO Bank say that they will not loan money to the airline. Both say no fresh money will be given until Kingfisher pays old dues. on Wednesday, SBI sources refuted reports that it was giving close to 1200 crore to Kingfisher.
Uco Bank Chairman Arun Kaul said that the bank has declared Kingfisher account as a non-performing asset.
"Earlier we had classified this account as an NPA account and for further this account needs to be regularised and the viability of the project has to be established to the bankers," he said.
