Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal have teamed up for the period action film Chhava. Rashmika recently finished filming and shared a heartfelt note on social media, expressing gratitude to the team and praising co-star Vicky. He responded by calling her an inspiration. Rashmika later posted a lengthy message, commending the Chhava cast and crew, and Vicky reposted it, mentioning how the set is missing her warmth and energy.
Calling Vicky a “maharaj”, Rashmika wrote in her post, “It’s been such a pleasure working with you. You are just tooooo warm and kind (except for the last day where you were just taking my case) but most days you were amazing. I am kidding..you are such a gem. I will always wish the best for you man. Was such a pleasure. mom has told me to convey regards to you.”

Chhava is directed by filmmaker Laxman Utekar, known for movies like Kriti Sanon starrer Mimi (2021), Luka Chuppi (2019) and more. The film is reported to be a period drama, where Kaushal will share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna. According to sources, Kaushal is set to portray the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha Empire’s founder, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film is expected to delve into Sambhaji Maharaj’s bravery, sacrifice, and wartime strategies while incorporating an emotional love story between him and his wife.
