Kriti Kharbanda Fulfilled ‘Bachpan Ka Sapna’ On Her Chooda Ceremony

Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat tied the knot earlier this month, on March 15. The wedding ceremony was held in Delhi and was attended by the couple’s family and industry friends. Since then, the couple has been delighting their admirers by sharing glimpses of their wedding festivities. Following the release of their wedding photos and a candid collection of stills from the Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies, Kriti Kharbanda recently offered a sneak peek into her Chooda ceremony. She shared that this event was particularly memorable during their traditional wedding.

Kriti Kharbanda delighted her followers by sharing a carousel of photos from her Chooda ceremony. The images showcased the stunning bride adorned in traditional attire. Kriti donned a neon green saree paired with a matching drop-off shoulder blouse and elegant gold jewellery. What stood out was the necklace she wore, a precious heirloom passed down from her maternal grandmother. Kriti revealed that it had been a childhood dream to wear this cherished piece of jewellery during her wedding. She expressed her sentiment in her caption, “Naani ma ka haar aur ma ki shaadi ka dupatta! The two things I was sure I was going to adorn during my Chooda ceremony even before there was a boyfriend or a proposal bachpan ka Sapna tha…”

The image also offers a closer look at her kaleeras, featuring the words “Will you marry me?” embedded within them. Kriti mentioned, “Laal chooda and traditional kaleera’s were a non-negotiable too. The number of people who tried to convince me otherwise was insane. But I’m so glad I stuck to what I wanted to do and didn’t look back.”

Sharing how she felt at the moment, Kriti stated that it was a magical morning. She was high on emotions. As per traditions, the couple were not allowed to see each other until the wedding rituals. She wrote, “While we did things our way, a few things were still old school.” She added that she wished Pulkit was part of the occasion. But she enjoyed the time he saw the pictures for the first time.

Pulkit and Kriti met on the set of the 2019 film Pagalpanti and quickly fell in love. Apart from Pagalpanti, Pulkit and Kriti featured in the film Veerey Ki Wedding. They were last seen together at Bejoy Nambiar’s Taish.
