Days after Katrina Kaif’s Merry Christmas hit theatres, the actress has now revealed the best reaction she got for her movie. On Thursday, Katrina conducted an ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on her Instagram handle when a user asked, “Best reaction you got for the film.”
Replying to this on her Instagram stories, Katrina dropped a heartwarming picture in which her actor husband, Vicky Kaushal was seen hugging her tightly. The couple was inside a theatre as they shared a warm hug. Along with the picture, Katrina wrote, “Jhappi from hubby” and dropped a red-heart emoji. Check it out here:
Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal tied the knot in December 2021. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in Rajasthan in the presence of their family members.
Talking about Merry Christmas, the film hit theatres on January 12. Besides Katrina Kaif, it also stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. It also features Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, Tinnu Anand, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kevin Jay Babu, Rajesh Williams, and Pari. Ashwini Kalsekar and Radhika Apte are also seen in cameos in the film. It is directed by Sriram Raghavan and is released in Hindi and Tamil. Merry Christmas has earned Rs 14 crore in India as of now.
Recently, in an exclusive conversation with News18 Showsha, Katrina opened up about the praise she has been getting for her performance in the movie. “I have wanted to do something with Sriram sir for a long time and we have had multiple conversations about it. There is a certain rawness and realness with the genre that he explores through his previous films. But beyond that, there is a human quality that comes across in the characters that he creates which for me was fascinating. As an actor, Merry Christmas is an opportunity that you don’t get every day. I am very happy with the kind of positive response that we are getting for the film,” she said.
